We are holding monthly drop-in sessions where researchers can talk to mathematicians face-to-face in an informal and relaxed environment. If you are a researcher with a mathematical question, whether or not you have submitted a problem through the online system, you are welcome to drop in and talk to us directly. If you signed up as a problem solver, you are welcome to join and meet researchers from within mathematics and from across departments. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
When & Where
The next drop-in sessions are

See you all soon!
How do drop-in sessions work?
Drop-in sessions are really informal: everyone with a question talks for about 5 minutes about their problem (no slides needed) and solvers can ask clarifying questions. After this, we break out into small groups and try to work on solving these problems. It's not compulsory, but you might get more out of the session if you post your problem on the helpdesk site before the session. This way it's easier for interested solvers to follow up afterwards. We'll have a laptop at the drop-in session too so you can do this during the session if that's easier.
Drop-in sessions are for continuing collaborations too!
